Mahindra KUV100 now available at all Italian dealerships
Mahindra has announced that the India-made Mahindra KUV100 has reached dealerships across Italy.

The SUV-styled hatchback was introduced in the country early last month. Visually, it differs slightly from the Mahindra KUV100 NXT sold in India.

The gets the same headlamps as the pre-facelift Mahindra KUV100. However, the front bumper and fog lamps are similar to the KUV100 NXT. The alloy wheel design has been borrowed from the Anniversary Edition. The Mahindra KUV100 measures 3,700 mm in length, 1,727 mm in width and 1,655 mm in height. It has a 2,385 mm wheelbase and a 170 mm ground clearance. It offers 243 litres of boot space, which is expandable to 473 litres on folding the rear seat bench. Italy gets the entry-level Mahindra car exclusively in the 5-seat version.

The Italian-spec Mahindra KUV100 is powered by a Euro VI 1.2-litre MPFI three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 61 kW (82 PS) at 5,500 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 3,500-3,600 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard and it sends power to the front wheels. Unlike in India, a diesel engine option is unavailable.

Mahindra offers the KUV100 in two grades: K6+ and K8. Both the grades are equipped with features like with 15-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable mirrors, rear spoiler, roof rails, illuminated ignition switch, all four power windows and sound system with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. The K8+ grade's highlights include keyless entry, push-button start, interior door handles with mood lighting, cooled glove box, courtesy lights and fabric inserts in the door panels.

Rear parking sensors, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program, Traction Control System, Hill Hold Control and Hill Descent Control safety features are included in both the grades.

The Mahindra KUV100 is available in six colours: Flamboyant Red, Fiery Orange, Pearl White, Dazzling Silver, Designer Grey and Midnight Black. The first four of these colours are available in a Dual-Tone option with a black roof in the K6+ and K8 grades. There's even a Dual Tone Plus option, exclusive to the K8 grade, in which the roof, pillars and ORVMs are black coloured. The Mahindra KUV100 costs €11,480 (INR 8,98,843.98) in the base K6+ grade and €12,700 (INR 994,365.72) in the range-topping K8 grade.
