The hybrid technology used by the Golf GTE offers 4 Driving Modes:
- 100% electric: (“e-mode”): in this selection, only the 75 kW (102 hp) electric motor is used, the maximum speed in this mode is 130 km/h.

The Volkswagen Golf GTE came to suit those who want energy efficiency, but without giving up the sportiness of a GTI.
You won't have to worry about running out of battery power, as you'll have the combustion engine to travel to your destination without needing to waste precious time recharging it during the journey.
The most interesting thing is to realize that there is still a lot of GTI in this hybrid recipe, including the look. If it weren't for the 16" and the double nose on the left would pass for a GTI - only the most connected will notice the blue details and the GTE logos on the trunk lid and front grille. Inside, we have the charm of sports seats covered in checkered fabric (with blue instead of red), also with blue stitching and the three-spoke steering wheel characteristic of the GTI sports car.
