Land Rover Unveils Defender Eivissa Limited Edition at Destination Defender Event in Ibiza
Land Rover forgot that September technically belongs to autumn, and though it was still summer in Ibiza, they set up Destination Defender there and announced the exclusive Eivissa Limited Edition as a tribute to the 'party island.'

While the Spanish (and other nationalities, for that matter) are bothered by the consequences of excessive tourism that was triggered by the pandemic restrictions from the early years of this decade, the island of Ibiza is probably not going to stop the party anytime soon – even in September. A good case in point makes Land Rover, the British 4x4 specialist.

Between September 12 and 29, the company took over the island of Ibiza - a Spanish dominion in the Mediterranean Sea off the East coast of the Iberian peninsula, one of the Balearic islands, and a well-known sweet spot known for the lively nightlife in Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni, where major European nightclubs have summer outposts.

There were a series of activities – all for the enthusiasts of the iconic British adventure brand, like panoramic on and off‑road driving to Ibiza landmarks, hiking, panoramic on and off‑road driving to Ibiza landmarks, among others. Additionally, the Defender House hosted various gastronomy experiences, from paella and tapas cookery workshops to food nourishment classes with Paco Roncero and Andrea Antonini.

After all, Ibiza is not only about the nightlife but also a good home for quiet villages, yoga retreats, and beaches or sandy coves nestled in the pine-clad hills found all around the coast. However, Land Rover didn't forget about the nightlife either – they hosted opening and closing parties, pool sessions, and whatnot, all hosted by renowned music artists like DJs Sven Väth, Cristina Tosio, and Indira Paganotto or local Jaime Fiorito. Of course, since we are talking about an automotive brand, the Defenders weren't absent from the procedures – and Land Rover announced the Defender Eivissa Limited Edition, "a tribute to the iconic island of Ibiza."

The name "Eivissa" is derived from the Catalan language and is supposed to reflect the authentic spirit of Ibiza and its rich cultural heritage. The new special edition will be offered in two distinctive curations – Eivissa Sunrise and Noontide, but you have to hurry to catch them because only six vehicles are offered for sale worldwide, three "dedicated to the vibrant Sunrise and three to the warm Noontide."

Two vehicles were on task at Destination Defender in Ibiza, and the vehicles will only be offered through Defender House. The Defender 90 Eivissa Noontide Limited Edition is inspired by "blue sky, the Mediterranean blue of the sea, and the white houses of the island." At the same time, the Defender 110 Eivissa Sunrise Limited Edition celebrates "nightlife on the island and the magic yellow of sunrise." Alongside the two Defenders, Destination Defender in Ibiza was also graced with the presence of the Defender OCTA, which packed the mild hybrid V8 twin-turbo engine that's good for 626 horsepower.
