Brabus Touches Smart's #3 With the Magic Wand
Some petrolheads may have no loveat all for the smart #3, yet Brabus does not give a flying hoot about it. Thus, the famous tuner has come up with a few aftermarket enhancements for the electric crossover coupe.

The work is mostly cosmetic. It comprises the usual add-ons and a few other extras. However, Brabus claims that its goodies do more than elevate the EV's sporty nature, as they improve the driving dynamics and reduce the front-axle lift.

Brabus' smart #3 features an insert below the front bumper. Side air intakes join the apron for a more dynamic appearance. It also has a rear spoiler that attaches to the top of the tailgate, and a diffuser-like piece rounds off the offering. All parts were manufactured of high-grade polyurethane, and the tuner says they're OEM quality.

Is this not enough to quench your smart #3 sporty thirst? Well, you could also pick between two different sets of wheels from Brabus. The renowned tuner offers the Monobloc alloys with a ten-spoke pattern and 20 inches in diameter. The Monoblock Z Platinum Edition features a center-lock hub cover design and measures 21 inches in diameter.

But what about the oily bits? You won't find a power boost on Brabus' shelves for the smart #3. However, you could opt to bring its body closer to the ground by 1.4 inches or 35 millimeters for a sportier stance. The aftermarket alloys would still fit under the arches, even in their most generous size (21 inches). The pictured vehicle has a black look, bi-tone shoes, and red brake calipers, as well as other accents in the latter hue.

Brabus could've called it a day at upgrading the car's exterior. After all, it is a mainstream all-quiet crossover. So, we wouldn't have been upset if it did not have a modified cockpit. Still, the tuner has also left its mark on the interior. Brabus mentions the backlit logo on the scuff plates, as well as more special touches on the headrests that display its name in red top-stitching. Adding more highlights to the vehicle's special nature are the aluminum pedal pads and footrest, as well as the new Brabus-branded floor mats.

According to the tuner, the smart #3's customization includes "numerous refinement options for the interior," which probably refers to the different hues available. You may be wondering how muc everything costs. We have to disappoint you by revealing that we have no idea, as Brabus hasn't revealed the sum in the official press release that accompanies the images of this tuned #3. But do you dig the revised looks? And would you give it a Brabus makeover if you had such a smart EV in your driveway? Drop a line below and let us know what you think of this modified smart #3.
